Matt's readings run 50 minutes long and include a telling of one of his books accompanied by a slide presentation. Following the story he gives a brief presentation on the process by which a children's book is made (ie. early manuscripts, character sketches and sculptures, editor's comments etc.). Matt also does some sketching in charcoal during the presentation. All sketches are given either to individual students or the school. Book signing is included in the presentation cost.
